Who will you be working with?
Experis Consulting are looking for an experienced B2B sales/business development professional. You'll be joining a burgeoning professional services team, specialising in technology risk management services and solutions across the UK and Europe. Working out of (when permitted) offices in central London, this is a perfect opportunity for an experienced business development/sales professional to shape and manage the team's complete sales strategy.
Our unique team creates products/services built on the ever-increasing amount of data that manage business risks and drive efficiency within the current evolving corporate environment. Ideally you will have the experience to be part of the product/service development, while taking control of the 'go to market' strategy.
So, what will you be doing?
As the Business Development Manager, you'll be joining an experienced and talented technical consultancy team. You will be tasked with driving and managing the complete 'go to market' process from service branding, lead-sourcing, sales and post-sales services. You will be part of the product/service development process to ensure a successful transition; this would also include collaboratively working alongside our regional marketing teams to shape campaigns.
Whether you are managing new client leads; managing a pipeline of contacts; presenting products or maintaining relationships; you will play a pivotal sales role for our team. There is also the expectation that you'll use the client insight and feedback you gather, in order to influence the latter stages of product development process.
You'll have a huge amount of autonomy in this role and will be fully supported by your team and the wider business to help you succeed.
What are we looking for?
Previous experience within a new business B2B sales/BD role (technology products and professional services)
Your sales/BD experience from dealing with large companies or organisations, communicating and closing deals with department heads and executives
Building strong and lasting relationships with your clients and partners in your territory
Fantastic client management and communication skills - you must be presentable, confident, professional and have gravitas
The ability to contribute to the product/service build and subsequent campaigns across multiple regions
You enjoy working in a fast-paced, ever-changing early-stage company environment and being part of growing a new business
An interest in new technologies and concepts relating to them
Any previous sales experience in cyber and 'governance, risk & compliance' related offerings would be advantageous
