Business Analyst (Business Process Modelling, SWOT)

Remote (occasional travel to South Manchester)

Role Description

This role is responsible for working with Business teams across Manpower Group UK for leading the identification and specification of business requirement for a specific transformation program and change initiative. You will be writing high spec business requirements and feature specs meeting expectations of key stakeholders and helping in the transformation of specific business areas. You will then work with the wider Project team to ensure your deliverables are completed in line with the agreed timescales.

Scope

This is a ManpowerGroup UK wide role and will work across all ManpowerGroup UK brands.

General Responsibilities

  • Working with the Business team to map out Business processes that are aligned wherever possible to target the overall operational transformation goals, helping them to agree an operational best practice standards and future workflows, including identification of operational efficiencies and standardisation
  • Preparing business requirements, documenting As Is and To Be processes and delivering process flows (Including running workshops, customer journey mapping)
  • Ensure that the Business Requirements are analysed fully, with appropriate engagement from the business teams including the review of current processes and data sources
  • Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, requirements traceability matrix, prioritisation, use cases, sequence / flow diagrams, future state proposals)
  • Documenting non-functional requirements in order to ensure that these are fulfilled through implementation phases
  • Act as the central control point for business analysis activities including working with third-party supplier business analysts and technical teams, as appropriate
  • Provide assistance and support for the definition of the operational processes and procedures
  • Assist the business to produce workarounds where requirements cannot be met fully
  • Analyse, implement, document and update processes to ensure company goals and business case objectives are met
  • Ensure full integration of all process and linkage to best practices
  • Liaise with third party vendors to ensure alignment of 'to be' processes with low complexity, configurable tech solutions
  • Assist in the development of cost and benefits case
  • Development and management of business test scripts and test execution

Technical and Professional Skills

  • Working knowledge of recruitment sector
  • Proven training / recognised qualification / experience in Business process modelling
  • Working with business analysis toolsets and within various project methodologies
  • Challenging existing mindsets and behaviours to ensure fit for purpose solutions are identified and delivered
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Lean process techniques
  • Communication / presentation of business requirements, process design and improvements upwards at a high level and downwards at a detailed level
  • Managing stakeholder expectations
  • Reviewing requirements documentation and process designs produced by others
  • Continuous improvement methodologies
  • Analysis techniques such as SWOT, BPM, Use case modelling and non-functional user stories

Desirable Skills/Experience:

  • Working with remote teams
  • BCS certificate/diploma or equivalent (eg CBAP)
