1st Line 2nd Line Support Buckinghamshire
My client is a boutique IT and Telecommunications Managed Service Provider based in Buckinghamshire. They are currently seeking a 1st /2nd line support engineer to join their small team.
Core Requirements
- Front line / 2nd line PC support skills - over and above "Turn it off and on again"
- Office/Microsoft 365 Admin including Teams
- Azure basics - VM Management
- Fundamental Networking Knowledge (Ubiquiti kit is a plus)
- Using Ticketing based systems
- Dealing with clients both over the phone and face to face
- Good phone Manner
- Experience in customer support
- Ability to explain IT issues to non IT users
- Previous 1st line experience
- ConnectWise Manage Knowledge a Plus
- Willingness to learn and develop - Training both on the job and formal certifications are on offer
- Full UK Driving License (Clean preferably) Company car available
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills
- Must have the ability to interact confidentially with clients and colleagues
Main Duties
- Providing Support via a ticketing system to all clients who require assistance with a focus on Microsoft technology stack
- Support the IT Operations Manager with any additional needs
- Resolve IT issues either over the phone or by going to client's sites. (Company car provided)
- Managing 1st incidents
- Providing IT support to technical issues
