We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager to cover a period of maternity leave. As Product Marketing Manager you will play a key role in the development of the company's biopharmaceutical systems - used by leading organisations worldwide to drive discoveries in novel therapeutics based on state-of-the-art peptide, protein and mRNA-derived biologics.

The Company has played a key role alongside our pharma customers in developing the Covid 19 vaccine. We supplied the tools to our customers to develop the vaccine quickly and we continue to work with start up biotechs as well as established global organisations to drive the next generation of antivirals. This is a great opportunity to be part of this critical work.

This role has a high level of visibility with the most senior levels of the organisation including the executive team as well as working with customers worldwide. As a contract role this could provide some great experience for your CV as well as a fantastic opportunity to work for an organisation undertaking such critical work

  • Accountable for key goals and objectives pertaining to biopharmaceutical analysis systems.
  • Responsible for developing and monitoring end-to-end product life-cycle.
  • Ensure prioritisation of all product related issues within other departments to maximise commercial opportunity, this includes marketing, R&D, Service, Tech Support and Production.
  • Act as technical advisor and product specific information conduit between other departments within the corporation.
  • With the engineering team, execute the roadmaps for Company's biopharmaceutical analysis systems.
  • Resolution of issues related to non-standard quotes and special requests.
  • Provide forecasting information to manufacturing for relevant product and options.
  • Monitor the quality of customer demonstrations and provide feedback to the demonstration laboratories about the current competitive challenges.


Requirements

  • Academic qualification in a science, IT or marketing subject.
  • Knowledge and experience in analytical chemistry
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or you may currently be in a software engineering position with a scientific leaning, a field service or installation engineer or have some other working or academic experience with our products
  • Excellent numerical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organisational agility and Teamwork - must be able to work with people in a variety of positions and across various functions.
  • Good organisational, negotiation and leadership skills.


Travel both domestically and internationally is required (estimated maximum 20% of time).
