Experis IT is working with an exciting brand based in Brighton who are hiring for a Senior Data Scientist to join their team and help drive the potential value from its data.
Overview
As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be involved in solving complex data issues using internal and external datasets and build predictive models that help their end goals whilst providing mentorship to junior members within the team. You will use compelling visualisations to explain complex mathematical predictive models that the team have created to ensure that management and relevant stakeholders can make informed decisions based on robust evidence bases, processes across the team or target inefficiencies in systems.
Requirements
- Experience mentoring junior members within the team and providing your knowledge where necessary.
- Strong use of the programming languages R and/or Python.
- Ability to communicate complex technical solutions and be able to discuss technical jargon into non-technical jargon for the end users to understand.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models.
- Strong academic development in mathematics and statistics.
- Proactive and flexible
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Strong attention to detail
