Reporting & Analytics Consultant
Location: Remote - site visits in Altrincham & Bristol
Start Date: ASAP


We're currently hiring for a Reporting & Analytics Consultant to join a growing team within our organisation. We're currently undergoing a large transformation Programme and as part of that we're looking to evolve our Reporting & Analytics function in house and require and experienced Consultant to join us. The position can be remote but there will be some travel to our sites in Altrincham and Bristol once offices begin re-opening.

Job Summary:

Reporting into the CoRE Data, Analytics and Reporting Manager, this role will be responsible for the following:

  • ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) database design and maintenance
  • MI Business report development incorporating adhoc requests
  • Monthly & Quarterly SLA analysis
  • Weekly Dashboard reports
  • Development of report presentations
  • Pipeline application analysis
  • Data integrity querying and reporting
  • Collaborating with recruitment teams to help them understand their business using data

Primary Responsibilities:

Database & Report Design & Management

  • Create and maintain processes for clients, using data from numerous sources
  • Using transformed data to set up self-service reporting for end-users
  • Ensure the most efficient processing methods and paths are followed
  • Ensure thorough documentation and notation of all processing.

Analysis of the End to End Recruitment Process

  • Interpret data to analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing performance reporting on all aspects of the recruitment process
  • Measure performance against SLAs
  • Produce pipeline reports, weekly dashboards and monthly/ quarterly reviews.
  • Deliver effective, clear & concise reporting, whilst constantly reviewing how we report to clients.

Continuous Improvement

  • Continually review process to look for insights
  • Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in data/SLAs to support the management in identifying efficiency's and performance issues and improvements
  • Filter and clean data correcting issues where identified to ensure reporting accuracy

Stakeholder Management

  • Regular liaison with programme management team to provide adhoc analysis as and when required
  • To be a point of contact for reporting and information queries from clients, responding efficiently, proactively seeking resolutions and escalating and highlighting issues to management team early when require

Essential Experience:

  • Previous experience of recruiting, human resources or talent acquisition analytics within an RPO or in-house environment.
  • Experience with relational databases and the ability to query datasets
  • Experience of Data Presentation tools such as Power BI
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions to complex problems
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail with the desire to document processes

Desirable Experience:

  • Prior experience using DAX / SQL
  • Data warehouse setup / management experience would also be highly desirable.
  • A thorough understanding of management information and data analysis.
