Our client a highly innovative Gaming company is seeking a Java Platform Developer to join their Platform development team.
Reporting to the Head of Platform Development, the Java Platform Developer will be a self-motivated individual who can both work on their own initiative and function well within a team.
The role will be expected to be able to give design recommendations and improve and maintain the current codebase.
Responsibilities
- Application Server & Micro-Service Design and Implementation
- Code reviews and mentoring
- Research new technologies and give design recommendations
Essential skills
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Extensive knowledge of Java and Java EE 8
- Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Microservices and Containerisation
- SQL and RDBMS methodology
- Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodologies
Experience
Must come with at least 3 years solid experience of design and development of stable, scalable Java EE applications and services.
