Global leader in the Legal arena with a rich history spanning almost 200 years, are seeking to secure the services of a professional Information Security Specialist to Technically Lead a Business Critical Information Security Programme.

The successful candidate will be required to take on multiple responsibilities with this Technical Lead post.

  • You will be the Technical Security SME on the programme
  • You will take the Technical Roadmap (built by the Security Architect) to deliver the Programme
  • You will be the Technical "eyes and ears" for the Programme Manager on the Programme
  • You will communicate with all levels of organisation from Architects, SecOps & Programme Managers
  • You will have experience with Security Programmes engaging multiple workstreams with large corporates

Role Responsibilities:

  • Identify technical work packages and scope of works.
  • Lead where required, on the definition of work packages that have technical elements and interdependencies.
  • Be accountable for the development and implementation of technical plans and testing.
  • Be accountable for producing technical documentation, where required, to agreed quality standards.
  • Lead the technical planning and design for the project.
  • Be responsible for creating, managing and submitting Change Requests and advising the Change Advisory Board (CAB) as appropriate
  • Be responsible for creating entries within the Asset Management system for the new technical solution
  • Participate in the agreement of the scope of works with the project team, including delivery dates. Participating in identifying and defining the structures of the solution to solve the business problem in scope for the project.
  • Monitor delivery of technical deliverables.
  • Report progress of technical implementation deliverables to the Project Manager.
  • Ensure that Business Continuity implementation is met within the technical solution design.
  • Ensure that the service levels defined within the service can be met by the technical solution.
  • Identify and reporting technical issues and/or risks associated with the delivery of any technical work package to the Project Manager.
  • Identify unresolved technical issues to the Project Manager/Team where necessary.
