Our client is currently in a huge technological transition in their history, and as a result are working on a few greenfield projects.
Due to this, they are looking for an integral position of a Head of Security Operations. In this role, you will head up a new function.
Working hands on with different technology in the Microsoft stack in the initial months, before being about to build out a team of 5 Security Operations Engineers.
This is a very exciting opportunity to work within a global company and build out a team/function in your image.
Things they would love to see:
- Proven experience as a Threat and Vulnerability Manager, SOC Manager Incident Responder or similar role.
- Technical ability to respond to common phishing and malware security incidents using common EDR and Network tooling.
- Gap Analysis
- Strong knowledge of security threat trends and best practices.
- Familiarity with common tactics, techniques, and procedures of attackers
- Understanding of security controls (e.g., NIST, CSF, CIS).
- Targeting professional certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CCSP
Worked/working hands on with :
- Sentinel
- Defender
- Zscaler
This is a remote role!
