Desktop Support Manager - Stoke - Permanent Role

Our technology-led client based in Stoke is currently taking the world by storm with its innovation that is set to improve our connectivity well beyond our current expectations!

Due to very exciting growth across Europe and now the UK, our client is growing extensively! We are currently looking for a dynamic, progressive Desktop Support Manager to lead and train the technical support team (1st and 2nd line) to ensure the very best customer support service to its customers across the UK.

Key skills and experience required for the Desktop Support Manager role;

  • Strong understanding of broadband-related technologies
  • Prior experience in a leadership and mentoring role in Desktop support, 1st and 2nd or 3rd Line Support
  • Identifying hardware and software solutions
  • Must always apply continuous improvement approach
  • Providing support through the implementation of procedural documentation.
  • High-level IT fluency, with full Office Suite capabilities alongside experience of remote-access problem diagnosis.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills
