Datacentre Technician / Engineer - Asset Management - Decommisioning - Datacentre - Up to £48k on PAYE contract
Slough based - Onsite working - PAYE Contract paying salary equivalent of circa £48k
My global brand is urgently recruiting for a Datacentre Engineer to work in their DC based in Slough. This will be a Mon-Fri role with normal working hours of 8 am - 5 pm
Key responsibilities:
- Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations.
- Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Centre regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity.
- Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
- Perform destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and run books
Essential skills
- Understanding of how to use Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- 2+ years' experience of working in a Data centre environment
