The successful candidate will be a self motivated, flexible with an ability to read and interpret drawings The role requires the candidate to assemble and wire electronic control cubicles systems and sub assemblies to drawings, wiring schedules and circuit diagrams in a timely and professional manner. Refurbish returned equipment and Install and modify equipment on customer's premises. Fixed term contractor Key responsibilities Receive Job Package and reviewPrioritise build sequenceEnsure all work is of a high standardBuild job from all the relevant information provided e.g. GA'S, Cct diagrams, Wiring schedulesRecognise and work around shortage problemsExperienced in specialist toolingTo have the ability to work unsupervisedTo undertake the build of first off / prototype equipment and liaise with Engineering to achieve optimum solutionsLiaise with Engineering re: any design change/rectificationLiaise with QA department on standards, i.e. Engineering Manual, preferred components, workmanship standardsLiaise with Material Control re: component/material problemsTo work with Test / Engineering to resolve problems as they occurTo operate all equipment in a safe and effective mannerAbility to plum pipe work etc, for water cooled rectifiersTo create fault sheetsWorking off site as and when requiredTo be available to work two shift patterns as and when requiredJOB REQUIREMENTSApprentice trained or appropriate equivalent experience in a comparable role within a similar industry.Minimum five years previous experience allied to a proven ability to correctly interpret manufacturing information and carry out related self- inspection tasks.Flexibility, motivation and commitment.Knowledge of internal and ISO9001; 2000 Quality systems.Knowledge of modern manufacturing management techniques.Awareness of Health & Safety requirements. .GCSE Grade C Math's & English or equivalent.Good communication skills at all levels of the organization.IPC 620 & 610 as required.J - STD - 001 soldering standard.SC Clearance require To apply please send your CV's in the first instance.
