About the role

Here at Babcock International we are looking to recruit a Welder to join our team based at RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire who are responsible for supporting the Armed Forces with a variety of supporting services.

You will be part of a team that has vast experience in aviation support who provide professionally competent specialist aircraft engineering, line and depth maintenance to our many clients.

We are looking for a Welder to join our workshop team responsible for specialist manufacturing for the RAF. Within this position you will manufacture components using technical drawings and operating fixed machines such as CNC mills, lathes and grinding machines to produce an array of products for our many clients.

What skills will be needed?

  • Experience as a Welder Sheet Metalworker
  • Be able to interoperate engineering drawings
  • Ability to assist clients with their design requirements and give guidance as required

  • 8 - 4.30 Mon - Friday
