Warehouse Materials Handler

Role Summary/Purpose

The Warehouse Material Handler will work in a team-based services environment performing a wide variety of tasks, including inventory stock take, review demand with project management and scrap obsolete/no demand material while maintaining an environment that sets a high expectation on Safety and Quality. You will interact and work with peers on common goals, and be flexible in managing day-to-day operations in scheduling, staffing and productivity.

Duties will involve identifying material and interacting with PM's and project coordinators in order to identify scrap/keep material, relocation of material and updating our WMS. The feedback provided to stakeholders is crucial and must be as accurate as possible.

Applicants must have materials handling experience in an oil & gas or subsea setting.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Follow and support business HSE & Quality policies, practising safe working habits, and maintaining ISO standards.
  • Being actively involved in reporting of HSE/Quality incidents (e.g. stop works) and follow-up investigations.
  • Carry out stock take and review legacy inventory
  • Work closely with Project management to determine material demand
  • Work with Inventory leader on excess and inactive material segregation and scrap no demand inventory
  • Report progress to Warehouse and Inventory leader
  • Complete daily checks on forklifts (and other necessary equipment) and general housekeeping of Warehouse.
  • Any other standard warehousing specific assigned tasks
