Vaccines Account Manager - top 5 Pharmaceutical company

Permanent

Location: field based, covering North Essex

Salary: c. £45 - 55,000 + 10% bonus, company car, generous benefits package (private medical and dental cover, 25 days annual leave, pension scheme, childcare vouchers, gym membership, etc.)

Vaccines Account Manager - this exciting new role has just come up with the Vaccines Division of a global leading pharmaceutical company.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is tenacious, committed and motivated to achieve sales targets, looking to work in a very supportive environment where you will be assigned mentors to support you with coaching. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INVOLVE:

  • Implementing the territory business plan to achieve annual business targets and objectives, as agreed with the Vaccine Business Manager.
  • Incorporating fully the agreed Company policy on marketing strategies, sales techniques and customer relationships.
  • Producing and maintaining target lists highlighting areas for growth and / or defence.
  • Developing product and company advocates, maintaining a list of speakers and co-ordinating speaker meetings and symposia, in line with the regional business plan.
  • Identifying and prioritising Key Local Influencers and groups who directly impact upon the achievement of national and local business objectives.
  • Planning the allocation of resources to ensure maximum return on investment within budget.

REQUIRED SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent, demonstrable influencing and communication skills that builds effective customer relationships
  • Sales experience in healthcare / pharmaceutical / biotech industry
  • Strong team player with the ability to work effectively with all team members
  • Able to successfully work independently and take individual accountability for actions and results
  • Proven commercial acumen, driven by clear insight & understanding of the business market dynamics and the ability to recognise and address urgent issues
  • Vaccines and Vaccines market knowledge would be advantageous
