UX Service Designer

You will work in an agile team and will collaboratively design concepts and delivery experiences for responsive web experiences. You will seek to involve the end user in your designs as well as liaising with the business owners and technology partners. The Experience Designer is also responsible for ensuring the digital designs from the team are excellent and inhabited by the Brand. This role requires a highly creative individual at pace with the latest interaction design and visual design trends as well as a deep knowledge of user experience principles.

The successful candidate will be a natural innovator in smart and high quality designs.

The candidate will be recognized in creating rich and delightful experiences in an agile fashion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of innovative, end-to-end user experiences across the business' key emerging services.
  • Inspire and provide creative direction to the team working within the company to deliver services that are beautiful, clear, useful, easy-to-use, innovative, and efficiently built.
  • Evaluate the design experience of early design concepts as well as on-device prototypes, and communicate design enhancements.
  • Deliver service maps, customer journeys, design concepts, layouts and screens.
  • Assist in the development of high quality visual and interactive proof of concepts to share with internal and external customers.
  • Provide both innovative design direction and execution of the business' most strategic innovation products.
  • Advocate for customer-centered, context-aware, responsive web design and platform-specific design as key to our brand's competitive advantage.
  • Support the Head of Digital Experience in the creation and execution of UX workshops in support of other organisational teams.
  • Demonstrate adaptability to changing priorities driven by the speed of our innovative, fast-paced, information services industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Expertise in UX and UI, design for digital journeys, data visualization, User Interface Design
  • Knowledge of HTML5 responsive web design, iOS, Android.
  • Understanding of mobile technology, user behaviors, and design requirements.
  • Current knowledge of design strategies and trends, especially mobile and new technical platforms.
  • Expertise in Sketch, Photoshop, illustrator, After Effects, Invision.
  • Ability to work with development teams to execute best design solutions within mobile and web technology constraints
  • Customer-centric, visual, creative leadership.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


  • Degree in Interaction, Visual Design, Information Design or Product Design (or equivalent skills)
