UX Designer - UX, Sketch, Invision, Axure RP Pro, Agile

Location: Osterley, West London

Duration: 3 Months

With an ever-expanding array of exciting products, NOWTV are growing faster and are looking for world class design talent. This is a fantastic opportunity for a UX Designer to join the NOWTV Design Team based at the Sky Head Offices in West London.

Reporting to the Creative Director, you will be responsible for designing customer experiences across the NOW TV Product (TV, mobile and web) and Service operations (account management, self-service and help). You will work closely with Product Owners, User Researchers, UX Designers, UI Designers and Developers in a fast-paced agile environment.

You enjoy solving challenging design problems in constrained environments. You are a natural collaborator and enjoy working closely with stakeholders. Curiosity and empathy constantly drive you to build better customer experiences. You make your design decisions based on clear and robust rationale that align with business goals, user needs and technical capabilities. You are not afraid to stand up for the user even in the most challenging debates.

Must have:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a UX Design role
  • Experience in user research methods (both discovery and evaluation) and/or working closely with user researchers
  • Experience in creating and / or working with design artefacts such as personas, user scenarios and journey maps
  • Well versed in low to high fidelity prototyping tools (pen and paper, Sketch, Invision, Axure RP Pro, Principle etc.)
  • Experience working in agile development environments
  • Experience designing for mobile interfaces and modern web technologies, including responsive web
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to question the status quo and inspire people to push boundaries
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast paced environment with a positive and motivating attitude
  • Self motivated, organised and accountable
  • Design related degree or equivalent industry experience

Nice to have:

  • Experience using analytics in the design process
  • Experience in broadcasting or media industry
  • Experience of MVT and AB Testing
