Duties & Responsibilities

We're currently recruiting for a Contract UX Architect to join us here at Sky Betting and Gaming on an initial 3 month engagement, with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be based at 2 wellington Place Leeds and will help the UX and design team in the following areas;

Your job as User Experience Architect is to develop Sky Betting and Gaming's portfolio of digital products. You'll partner with product teams, creatives, developers and digital designers to define and deliver new features, test new concepts and assist with final implementation. Details are critical as you iterate on your sketches, user journeys, and complex interactions.

Job Requirements

You'll be working within an agile environment to run workshops, delivering and user flows. Additionally, you will get into the detailed interaction design, delivering sketches, wireframes and prototypes.

You may also be called upon, to be an ambassador for the user experience as we evangelize UX around the wider business. As an excellent communicator, you'll be confident in articulating complex issues into simple language.

To be considered for this role, you must have the following experience/skills:

· Experience in process and tools to gather user and business requirements
· Comfortable using prototyping tools (Axure would be advantageous)
· You will have minimum 3 years experience as an UX Architect or Senior UX Designer
· Excellent stakeholder management skills
· Experience creating usable solutions in complex technical architectures
· Experience in designing for digital products
· Comfortable with using web metrics/traffic analysis
· AGILE scrum experience, working with backlogs and feature sets.
· Experience with workshop facilitation, and user centric research methodologies
· Experience in setting vision and structure for own workload

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications. Although not essential, the following skills/experience will be advantageous:

· Related degree or equivalent in practical experience
· Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills
· Experience in designing for Responsive digital products
· Experience working in productized teams
· Betting and Gaming Experience
· Experience in creating solutions for complex technical architectures
· Actively contributing to the UX community with own blog, talks and events
