UI/UX Designer

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Creative Director, a dedicated UI/UX Designer will create the user interface design for the "My Account" and "Help" features of the service. Working closely with the BAs, Product Owners, and Developers. This role will be required for the duration of the user interface development effort to ensure that the development teams have dedicated UI design support and that the user interface is the best it can be.

The Designer will be responsible for the creation and enhancement of key UI deliverables:

  • Style guides
  • Interaction prototypes
  • Full-page editable design source files in Sketch
  • Sketch files uploaded to Zeplin for design specs

Skills and experience required

  • Ideally around 4 or more years' UI experience
  • Up to date understanding of UI best practices
  • Responsive design experience
  • Knowledge of designing in agile sprints
  • Well versed in Adobe CS / CC: Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Experience of Sketch
  • A good working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • A strong online portfolio displaying user-centred design
