Transition Manager to join a multinational telecommunications company based in Leeds on an initial 6-month contract.
About the role:
We are the Transition Team who sit in Partner Management under the Sourcing Management Office Team. The on-boarding and mobilisation of a new Partner / existing Partner onto a new contract / amended contract with substantial changes resides in the responsibility of the Transition Team. There are other responsible and accountable owners from across the business required to work in an agile fashion to produce the end result of having the Partner ready to perform to their contractual requirements.
Key responsibilities:
The Transition manager will ensure responsible and accountable owners from across the business are engaged and enact their individual activities to enable Partner readiness. This is to ensure any Partner working on our network; regardless of the scope of work they are doing and the duration (including trials) are ready to do so compliantly, safely and to a quality standard.
Hold partner calls (multiple partners at any one time) to track progress against Transition Plan
Update Transition plan in accordance to partner progress
Provide progress report for Transition Programme Manager
Work with internal core team workstream leads (system, process, people, MIS) to assess dependencies in partner readiness
Complete and proactively manage risk and action log with clear mitigation and accountable action owners - progress and escalate as required
Assure partner stage gate preparation through coaching and feedback
Build and maintain evidence log of partner readiness - suitable for internal audit purposes
Create training / briefing / comms content for partners
Constantly review and develop our methods and tools to drive efficiencies and effectiveness across the team from lessons learnt and continuous improvement opportunities
Own self-management and development
