ITIL Transition/Service Management Coordinator
Location: Botley, Southampton
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
An ITIL Transition/Service Management Coordinator is required to work for the UK's leading Engineering Support Services organisation as part of their IS Division.
As an ITIL Transition/Service Management Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the transition of IT Services and products (both new and existing) into the production environment from design to operation via the Change Management process.
You will be a key individual in establishing, maintain and providing a robust Service Transition process. This will include ensuring appropriate sign off is obtained for all services transitioned, working with the knowledge management team as well as raising risks when required.
The successful candidate will be a tenacious individual who is confident communicating to all IT Levels of Technical staff. You will have the ability to coordinate all Transition/Change activities and have a robust approach to following and enforcing processes.
Key skills required for this role include organised, motivated to succeed, determination to get the activity done as well as persistent being able to chase the relevant people when needed.
Demonstrable experience using MS Office and Windows is required.
ITIL Foundation qualification would be beneficial
You will be required to hold SC Clearance or be able to obtain SC on acceptance of the position.
