EMEA, Total Reward Manager - London - Financial Services - Competitive Salary + Excellent benefits

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Reward Manager to join a growing team within a globally recognised blue-chip organisation. Reporting into the Head of Total Reward, the successful Reward Manager, your work will be aligned to clear and shared strategic priorities and your success will be determined by how you help drive growth and mitigate risks to business performance.

The role:

  • Provide support to the Head of Total Reward, EMEA for ad hoc requests and reward projects
  • Consult with HR and line managers to develop and implement reward initiatives that support business goals within overall reward philosophy and strategy
  • Manage all annual activities for EMEA region (salary review, bonus payments, etc.)
  • Contribute within the Reward function to the development of compensation and benefits strategy and policy
  • Participate in multiple projects, both regional and global involving research, analysis and presentation of results
  • Evaluate effectiveness and competitiveness of current programs and recommend improvements as needed
  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of appropriate reward tools and technology.
  • Ensure HR and line managers understand and utilise available reward tools
  • Monitoring programs to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and maintain awareness of market trends and best practice, including gender pay reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with internal reward governance across the region.
  • Taking the lead on reward training and communications within the region.
  • Being a strong advocate of our culture both internally and externally
  • Being a trusted advisor across the business and a strong partner to others in the People function

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of salary administration, job evaluation, job design, and EMEA remuneration market
  • Excellent understanding of current EMEA regulations regarding compensation and benefits
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Expert in MS Excel and ideally proficient in MS Access
  • Previous exposure to Workday (ideally) or other HR systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a complex matrix organization through influencing.
  • Commercially aware and pragmatic
  • Proven capacity to deliver and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • You have substantial compensation experience and either some benefits experience or an interest in gaining exposure to benefits projects in the future.
  • You know what great reward solutions can look like because you've implemented them in other companies (tech/digital, global, high growth and private equity experience all particularly relevant)
  • You're aware of what leading organisations are doing to drive performance through people, and how it links to reward.
  • You're highly credible and able to build strong partnerships with management teams who have limited tolerance for 'HR speak'
  • You have a network of relevant people that you draw on for support and expertise - you're self-aware enough to acknowledge that you can't be an expert in everything
  • You're constantly learning and have a desire to be genuinely progressive in everything you do
  • You are not bound by process - you move at pace and join the dots quickly to solve problems
  • You use data and insight to ensure we're solving the right problems and making progress with the right solutions
  • You believe in doing things right first time every time
  • You're willing to roll up your sleeves and get involved in the details sometimes, rather than waiting for others to do it for you
