Role description:

The candidate will be working on a variety of next-generation products. Work opportunities will be challenging and interesting, with exposure to new technologies.

Skills required (Essential):

Good understanding of the software development lifecycle

Professional attitude and strong work ethic

Interest in testing and quality assurance

Attention to detail

Flexible and able to work well in a team.

Strong written and spoken English

Skills required (Desirable):

Functional knowledge in HTML5/Bespoke apps such as YouTube, Red Bull, Spotify, BBC iPlayer, Netflix and other music apps like Airplay, Bluetooth, Vevo

Use of Android, iOS and Mac Book devices

Solid understanding of different network devices such as routers, switches and hubs

Experience of Agile development (Scrum)

Use of Defect management software (e.g. Jira, BugZilla)

Use of collaboration software (e.g. Wiki/Confluence)

Use of test management software (e.g. QualityCenter)

Comfortable with Unix/Linux command line interfaces

Software development/scripting experience

Understanding of networking and server architectures
