The project will entail a complete re-design of existing software, whilst also creating new features to meet the needs of the customer. While primarily working as part of an Agile software development team, you will also be involved in leading and implementing all test and V&V activities relating to the project.

The Fit

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate previous experience in a wide variety of levels and types of software testing within Agile environments and also more traditional methods as part the Software Development Life Cycle. Previous experience with the Atlassian tool set and also with automated build/test is highly desirable. As this is a new start up project, you will be able to support the setting up of new processes and procedures, developing on a fast paced and rapidly evolving project.

We are open to those with a strong general software testing background with a passion for IT, able to keep pace with new and emerging technologies and be able to embrace new ways of working. You will work within a collaborative environment with experienced engineers who will be able to offer advice and support when required.

Previous experience/knowledge/Awareness of Underwater Acoustics, Signal processing systems or Signal analysis would be an advantage but not essential, however most importantly is your drive to deliver positive outcomes and high-quality products
