Test Engineer

We are actively looking to secure a Test Engineer to join Experis as one of our expert consultants, delivering services to our clients.

The Role

  • Documents the scope of what will and will not be included in the test coverage, with justification where appropriate, achieve sign off of scope from business analysist
  • Defines and documents inputs to test estimate, including reference to version control
  • Documents and validates all Gaps, Risks, Issues, Assumptions and Dependencies with mitigation
  • Confirms cross team impacts
  • Ensures contingency is documented along with justification for inclusion
  • Ensures test estimates clearly differentiate between man days effort and elapsed duration
  • Ensures consideration given to the use of automation for test scripts or data creation
  • Ensures late deliveries and/or change requests are fully assessed, producing structured estimates and impact assessment includes any impact on existing testing and the regression effort

Key Skills/Experience

  • Experience in analytical skills / designing optimised test coverage
  • 1-2 Years' experience in managing Junior Test Engineers / Test Analysts during preparation and execution phases
  • Effective and concise reporting with focus on Issue and dependency management
  • Educated to degree level (Technique / Software Development)
