Test Analyst - Workday

Location Manchester

3 month contract initially

You will be part of the Testing & Quality Assurance specialists and provide expert solutions to our customers to help us maintain our position as a leader in the market.

  • Previous experience in a Test Analyst capacity.
  • Workday Payroll experience - including Parallel run and Workday HCM
  • Excellent understanding of testing software, technologies and processes.
  • Previous experience of test script creation from functional requirements and test script execution.
  • Experience with defect management (such as JIRA and Zephyr).

Key responsibilities

  • Producing necessary test deliverables to agreed timescales, budget and quality.
  • To log and track defects raised during testing to resolution.
  • Maintaining a repository of current and effective test documentation for a project.
  • Maintain appropriate and effective testing and integration environments.
  • Implementing best practice testing processes and capabilities.
  • Advising on the quality assurance of software development processes, including release documentation.
  • Profiling, planning and executing testing where appropriate.
  • Profiling, planning and executing performance testing where appropriate.
  • Advising internal and third party development teams of defects and gate keeping their satisfactory resolution.
  • Reviewing third-party applications for quality and suitability, including the design and execution of functional and performance tests.
  • Producing metrics and reports to feed into quality improvements in testing and development processes.
  • Attending regular status meetings as required with the testing and project teams.
  • Informing project managers of quality issues in the system.
