Test Analyst - STB / TV Devices

Location: West London

We are actively looking to secure a Test Analyst to join Experis.

Role description:

Our client is seeking a hands-on Test Analyst to work within the Test team, on a variety of next-generation products. Work opportunities will be challenging and interesting, with exposure to new technologies.

The Test Analyst will be using equipment such as HDMI analysers, Power consumption meters and Oscilloscope to measure signals from our client's TV Box.

Essential Skills:

  • Familiar with terminology such as HDCP, Power Measurement, and Compliance Testing, and can easily recognise different ports on an Audio/Video device (TV box, Amplifiers, and TV's etc).
  • Should be familiar with TV box physical connections; Optical, HDMI, Network, Power and how they connect to Audio and Video equipment used around the home
  • Familiar with protocols such as CEC, BARB, Dolby Digital, Watermarking, 4K, UHD, HDR
  • Good understanding of different network devices such as routers, switches and hubs
  • An electronics background (study or hobby) will be an advantage
  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • Flexible and able to work well in a team, as well as autonomously (able to take ownership of their own work).
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Interest in testing and quality assurance
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and spoken English
