Our Central Government Client based in London are looking for a Technical Support Officer who is DV Cleared (SC cleared candidates will also be considered).

You will be assisting in 1st, 2nd and 3rd line support of technical systems to a professional (ITIL certified) standard and providing assistance in maintaining/upgrading technical systems in line with technical projects and aid the support of networks and infrastructure.

Role Profile:

  • Installing, upgrading and supporting technical hardware, operating systems, software and peripherals
  • Support of incident, problem, configuration and change processes affecting infrastructure
  • Network Management
  • Training & demonstrating to users
  • Application support (Bug Fixing)
  • Update, repair, modify and expand existing applications
  • Resolve incidents in a timely manner

Key Skills/Experience:

  • ITIL Foundation
  • In-depth knowledge/experience of IT hardware, operating systems, virtualised environments and software
  • In-depth knowledge/experience of IT languages, web technologies and software packages
  • Troubleshooting and methodical fault diagnosis & resolution
  • MS System Centre 2012 (e.g. Hyper-V, Active Directory, Exchange, Windows Server)
  • IP addressing and subnetting (IPv4 & v6) knowledge
  • MCSA Windows Server 2012
