My client are an award winning end-to-end IT services provider who have been supporting a multitude of sectors for over 30 years. The Role

My client are looking for an experienced (around 5 years) IT Support Manager to join their vibrant offices in the West Coast. You will be an effective communicator and hold the ability to take initiative and work to specific deadlines.

The post is a key member of the technical team who will:

  • Develop, implement and manage an effective ITIL-based service delivery operation, supporting a wide range of IT systems, technologies and services.
  • Install, Configure and administer business applications including upgrades and patching
  • Administration of shared network folder access
  • Design, develop and implement a broad range of operational support services covering service desk, application maintenance & support, desktop server, networks
  • Liaising with vendors across the business
  • Build close relationships with the key business stakeholders and clients
  • Management and configuration of networking devices (Switches, routers, firewalls)
  • Ensuring End to end ownership of all IT tickets including being responsible for all communication

What do I need?

The successful candidate for this position will have:

  • Experience of working in an ITIL environment
  • Experience as a Service Desk Manager
  • Hands on experience across a broad range of IT Technologies
  • Demonstrable experience of approaching change and implementing continuity plans to drive continuous improvement
