Technical IT Support Specialist - Central London £45,000 - £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsCitrix, 0365, Windows, Apple, Cisco WebEx, VPN, Exchange, Active Directory, Lync, TelephonyAn exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a company to provide onsite "White Glove" critical IT support to C suite Executives and Senior Leadership teams within a global Insurance Services organisation. This is a new position within the UK based team that will be welcomed entirely by senior execs and but will form part of a broader network of Senior Support Specialists globally, providing VIP support across a range of technologies and applications.What will I be doing?Day to day you will be engaging with CFO, CIO, CEO level execs and other Senior leadership Team members providing VIP support across but not limited to, 0365, Windows 7-10, Citrix Applications, Skype 4 Business, Cisco WebEx, telephony, and a range of mobile and end user devices covering tablets, laptops, android and apple devices including smart watches etc. Essentially all things technical that this level of staff could need help with. You will be their technical right hand person and will be able to answer all the technical IT needs. Technically you will need a broader understanding of server side tech including Exchange Server and Active Directory to be able to offer guidance and advice to 3rd parties to pinpoint and resolve user issues. What type of person are you looking for?We are looking for a well presented (verbal, visual, written) and polished individual who doesn't get flustered under pressure. You will be able to work with senior stakeholder explaining to them how you are helping them and allowing them to feel comfortable that they are in safe hands. Imagine they are about to deliver a high level presentation and there is a technical issue or their laptop stops working. You need to be able to pinpoint solve and resolve whilst also keeping them in the loop. If you don't know the answer leaving them confident you will still be able to go away and fix this issue and also liaise with 3rd parties if it is a higher level issue affecting multiple users. What interpersonal and technical skills do I need?Experience across the full Windows Stack (Win 8/10 etc.)Experience in O365Experience In active Directory and Exchange ServerExperience in Citrix and Application SupportExperience in Supporting Cisco Webex including hardware as well as softwareExperience Supporting and troubleshooting VPNExperience supporting bespoke and COTS based applicationsExperience in supporting Mobile devises (ideally Apple product support as well as android)Presentable, well-mannered polite and helpfulCan do attitude always willing to help.
