Job Purpose:

Technical Transfer Planning - Work with various Technical Transfer product teams to plan out all the associated activities from Technical Transfer Phase right through and including launch.

Qualification and ReQual Planning - Work with onsite validation team to develop and maintain a schedule around all Validation activities and associated qualifications while also applying the manufacturing plants constraints

Work in conjunction with commercial planning to ensure planning is fluid and remains on schedule

Principal Accountabilities:

  • The planner will be responsible for all Technical Engineering Planning& forecast
  • accuracy
  • Run Integrated internal meetings feeding into Commercial reviews monthly
  • Communicate to hubs to amend incorrect Demand Signals in SAP APO
  • Ensure there are Integrated Tech transfer, Master Data & Planning Processes
  • Assess the Weekly SAP quantities and stock volumes for Tech Eng to ensure on time delivery
  • Strategic Scenario Planning
  • Ensure all Process orders are allocated and closed on time.
  • Ensure that recipe run times, batch sizes, drug substance calculations, goods processing times and any other SAP related criteria are accurate to ensure reliable long term Tech Eng plans.
  • Produce material forecasts for Finance and QC.
  • Ensure that all activities in the 3 to 24 month period has an associated BOM and a Planned order in SAP APO
  • For any Demand Led Changes (initiated from Planning Hub or Tech Transfer) that impact the Supply Plan ensure that the costs go through the S&OP process on a monthly basis and are approved by SLT
  • Work hand in hand with product leads and validation leads to ensure all activities are forecasted and remain on schedule.
  • Manage root cause analysis of system failures using standard tools and methods, to resolve any system issues e.g. FMEA, Fishbone diagrams, 5 why's etc.; oversee and implement subsequent corrective action through the change management system.
  • Input to cross functional meetings regarding process improvement or introduction of new Processes.
