Location - London/Southend/Manchester/Telford (flexible base with lots of travel)

Duration - 6 months

Project description -

Current SAS in Cloud discovery scope is to conduct technical and data analysis converting 6 legacy warehouses/systems: ADR, ADW, CAF, WMF, ICP, & CDW

Task description -

Validating and verifying all technical documentation with the business, depending on their area of expertise (ownership of these areas highly fluctuate and depend on the legacy system, its utilisation, hardware and/or software suppliers' involvement):

  • for user requirements, some technical analysis support, depending on whether KAI are involved in managing the software, environments or existing connectivity
  • AMS (multiple teams, depending on system) - data architecture and infrastructure, software configuration and existing SAS servers, environments & connectivity strings (for some of the systems above)
  • network pathways, hardware and some software, environment and some existing connectivity
  • Knowledge, Analysis and Intelligence. This department is concerned with analysis of data to inform government policy, answer parliamentary questions etc.
  • All tasks are performed across the 6 legacy systems, engaging KAI or the necessary tech suppliers.

Tasks -

  • Data analysis: establishing KAI as-is data utilisation
  • Technical analysis: providing DevOps and CDIO with in depth comprehensive technical detail
  • User requirements & analysis: gathering and analysing KAI user requirements to ensure that established connectivity represents their needs and there's a clear agreement for what is the definition of 'connectivity'
  • Facilitating and leading workshops, stakeholder engagement and management, able to validate and support discovery artefacts between DevOps and the business
