Project Overview:

The Future Operating Model Requirement Project is a core element of the Future Projects area. The projects mandate is to produce a set of competition requirements across the future TacCIS set of projects capturing the Authority's needs whilst ensuring the individual project requirements are coherent by design.

Role Description:

  • The role is to work with the Future Operating Model lead and relevant Subject Matter experts to manage, develop and maintain technical business process requirements in accordance with commercial guidance and MoD best practice for inclusion in competition data packs..
  • Liaise with the Commercial Manager and Project PMs (System Integrator, MSPs) in order to facilitate inclusion of requirements in competition data pack

Output:

  • Strategic and Tactical Operating Model Requirement (Across the Authority and the Supply Chain)
  • Activity flows and associated details for each MEF across the Operating Model
  • Definitions of terms and expected deliverable products
  • Specification of appropriate technical evaluation criteria for the Operating Model
  • Operating Model requirements acceptance criteria

Essential Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to take detailed direction on the structure and format of requirements and associated competition datapack schedules and apply guidance consistently to work.
  • Attention to detail in order to satisfy the exacting requirements of CAT A set of project procurement's and the scrutiny applied to the such requirements.
  • Strong time management and proactive working skills alongside ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work at pace to meet demanding timescales in the context of a demanding and dynamic project environment.
