Technical Application Systems Architect

Location: Ashton, Bristol


Salary: £60,000 + private healthcare + benefits

A Technical Application Systems Architect (Siemens NX and Teamcenter) is required to work for the UK's Leading Engineering Support Services Organisation as part of their Marine and Technology Division based in Ashton, Bristol.

As a Technical Application Systems Architect you will be the Team Leader on-site for 3 technical application specialists in a Project Lead capacity.

You will maintain a technical specialist role being the domain level expert, involved in upgrades, configurations and designs (full lifecycle), taking ownership of complex implementation issues and provide design solutions and guide the teams through successful implementations.

As part of this role your aim will be to maximise the ROI through driving the strategy, optimising the business solutions as well as utilising the knowledge gained in previous roles. You will deliver cost effective, supportable technical application solutions that meet current and future needs of the Engineering community.


The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of Siemens NX and Teamcenter, PLM deployment in mid - large enterprises. You will have had previous hands on experience in Teamcenter unified, Engineering Architecture, BMIDE, Stylesheet configurations and CAD Data Management.

Working experience in Teamcenter upgrades, CAD System Integration with Teamcenter such as NX, AutoCAD and Inventor.

This role requires the individual to hold or be able to obtain SC Clearance on acceptance of the position. You must also be eligible to access and handle ITAR data.
