My Newcastle based client is currently looking to add an experienced Infrastructure Analyst to their growing team. You will be heavily involved in the support of a broad range of infrastructure and database administration, as well as the assessment and design of corporate internal solutions.

What will the role involve?

Your day to day responsibilities include:

  • The assessment and delivery of solutions in line with corporate strategies
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for specialist areas listed below, acting as the senior point of escalation for service desk staff
  • Involved in the design and implementation of end-to-end integrated systems
  • Review of infrastructure implementation proposals, providing expert advice during the delivery of new projects
  • Actively involved in system architecture proposals involving outsourced delivery
  • The review and improvement of existing applications, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness

What experience do I need?

  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and integrated software solutions
  • A history of working in an Enterprise Level environment, ideally with offshore teams
  • Experience in database design
  • A consultative approach with the ability to engage with Senior Stakeholders and the wider IT environment

Essential knowledge required includes:

  • Production of Batch Scripting, with indepth knowledge of SQL script writing and Database interaction
  • Strong Windows Server knowledge
  • Demonstrable experience of Azure and Office 365
  • Indepth knowledge of enterprise level network support
  • Strong Active Directory knowledge
