Role:

As a Technical Analyst / Agile Product Owner you'll be knowledgeable and passionate about technology and product development, enjoy working with other smart people and use agile to ensure your projects succeed. You are experienced in, and follow best practice in, Agile and analytical methods. You will possess business acumen and will have experience in business & technical analysis on highly complex solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Technical Analyst for a technical Scrum, participating with architects, developers and testers in defining the product backlog.
  • Definition of interface changes between systems/components
  • Defining technical and user stories to support new functionality or changes to existing, this often involves close collaboration with architects and developers as well as client services
  • Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups and retrospectives.
  • Be the primary source of information and truth for the product and leverage this expertise to provide insight and clarity.
  • Understand the interactions between components and external consumers ensuring requirements are aligned across the solution.
  • Mapping business requirements and producing technical requirements to introduce to the Scrum.
  • Collaborate with the Scrum Master to organise and prioritise the team's work.

Skills and Experience:

Essential

  • Technical analyst / agile product owner experience, ideally within a Scrum for a large organisation.
  • Worked within a web environment and has a excellent understanding of web concepts including REST and RESTful services
  • Strong technical understanding of high transactional backend systems
  • Able to quickly understand the full end-to-end functionality of all components within a complex architecture

Desirable

  • Experience and good understanding of micro-systems architecture
  • Experience of video streaming and download applications
  • CSPO qualification
