Permanent role with a true industry leader and innovatorSalary up to £38,000, pension, 25 days holiday and flexible benefit schemeEasily accessible location with parking and restaurant on siteTrue career progression on offer within this large organisation About your new role The role is accountable for the execution of the subcontracting plan, incorporating preparation of the procurement strategy and documents, sourcing, data collection and analysis and, managing communication with suppliers and internal customers. Managing prime contractor interfaces, risk mitigation (i.e. flow-up/down arrangements within prime contract) and flexibility within supply chain, including, supplier sourcing and selection through the make or buy process and appropriate leverage to deliver improvement, quality, performance, innovation and cost reduction. Key accountabilities include:Embedded within a newly formed, Procurement Frameworks & Subcontract Management Delivery Team, to provide end to end Supply Chain advice, sourcing, supply assurance, delivery, supply chain management and tasking against requirements.In-contract supplier managementEfficient & effective day to day management of supply chain in support of Customer bidding and existing programmesProviding strategic/functional development and execution of business strategiesStakeholder management (internal and external).Management planning of current and future workload.Harnessing innovative solutions from existing and future supply chain partners.
