Spec / Minimum Requirement:
Market analysts understand how best markets are able to deliver requirements, through analysis of demand, industry trends, capacity to deliver, market fragility, key players and market fragility. The candidate will understand and inform stakeholders, through professional reporting, on how changes in legislation will impact markets and their ability to deliver goods and services. This role will also help run market engagement sessions to prepare the market for procurement and inform procurement teams of the state of the market. They should have strong commercial acumen, and may have undertaken market assessments, analytics and research previously.
The key deliverables for the role are:
* Market Health Assessments by category/subcategory/product group
* Supplier Analysis: capability & capacity for specific procurements across categories
* Provide market analysis and insight into Category Strategies
* Build and own pipeline of work.
