What to expect:

You will act as the architectural authority element workimg closely with the Software Engineers to ensure implementable architectures can be created. You'll work with Technical Design Authorities whilst managing architectural risk across their architecture domain and assist in the choosing of technology solutions.

You'll handle the development of strategies and architectures covering all aspects of the product lines, especially reference architectures and architectural patterns You'll also provide subject matter expertise on deployed application technologies to guide the business on how and where technology can be used to address key business processes and emerging requirements.

What you'll need

We'll need you to have experience of Java and Cloud Technologies like AWS and GCP, any GCP Certifications are great to see. You should also have worked with API's, Microservices architectures and have had interaction with mobile environment. You may have worked with Data (Relational/No-SQL) and have a proven track record of working with anything related to IoT, connected products or mobile in an agile/DevOps driven software development environment.

We are looking for someone who is collaborative, handles change well and can challenge others whilst working effectively with colleagues, vendors and stakeholders. We need someone who is customer focused, self motivated and results oriented who thrives in an environement of continuous improvement.

You will be commercially aware and able to listen, interpret and accurately converse in a clear and open manner, providing timely delivery of information to people at all levels. We need someone who can rapidly pick-up new technologies, propositions, business challenges and can organise and plan work effectively to achieve high quality outcomes sometimes within tight deadlines.

You should have a demonstrable track record in delivering/governing appropriate solutions integrating cross technology solutions covering a variety of technologies with an ability to demonstrate delivery of pragmatic solutions that balance project/ programme constraints against strategic direction and, as required, successfully reach agreed compromises with stakeholders.
