My client looking for an Inside Sales Manager to join their team in central Edinburgh
The successful candidate will join the new business sales team in helping supporting the full sales lifecycle.
My client is looking for someone with past of present Sales Manager experience to help manage and guide the in-house sales team.
The relevant candidate will monitor the sales admin process, liaising with professionals within the company, so communication skills are key.
You must be able to work individually as well as work as part of a team, and be able to motivate the people around you.

Key objectives:
Managing the inside sales staff across the world.
Setting and tracking sales KPIs
Suggesting and implementing improvements in the sales administration process.
Ensuring the knowledge of the inside sales team is adequate through training and on-boarding programmes
Manage all outsourced inside sales / telemarketing contracts, processes in a standardized and consistent manner.

Research and discover ways to increase customer engagement
Track and meet prospect, lead and opportunity targets
Track employee productivity and quality
Report on sales metrics and suggest improvements
Prepare sales reports
Measure customer and employee feedback to generate ideas about new prospecting approaches
Ensure sales, finance and legal policies and procedures are met
Build an open-communication environment
Liaise with Marketing and Sales departments to ensure brand consistency and increase pipeline creation velocity.
Manage the sales team
Coordinate department projects to meet deadlines
Implement improvements in the sales administration process


  • Proven work experience as a telephone sales manager
  • Hands on experience with CRM software
  • In-depth experience of sales administration tools
  • Strong experience of working in a target driven environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Numerical abilities and problem-solving attitude
  • Hands on telephone sales experience
