Location: South Dublin
Salary: €80,000 - €90,000+ per annum DOE (Negotiable)
Contract Type: 12 Months Fixed Term Contract
Start Date: Up to 1 Months' Notice Period Accommodated


Our client a global technology giant are seeking an experienced and hands on Software Project Manger to join their team based in South Dublin on 12 Month Contract

This role requires an ability to take large, complex projects and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional specifications and deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical talent and leadership are essential to success in this role. You will clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and remote teams.

Software Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

  • Scope & design productivity applications for use by highly skilled users.
  • Work in close collaboration with UX design and engineering to create an exceptional user experience for the content publishing system.
  • Identify common user workflows resulting in a straightforward user interface.
  • Create a system that supports user efficiency & usability in content management, content discovery and content editing.
  • Work with multiple stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs, anticipate future needs & design scenario's in line with the overall strategy of the organisation.

Software Project Manager Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years' commercial software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management
  • Experience with developing backend Services.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS (including AJAX/JQuery) development experience.
  • Working knowledge of C#/ ASP.NET /MVC development skills
  • Familiarity with Kanban methodology is a big plus
  • Experience with Azure, Bing or similar server technologies is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in an Agile development environment.
  • Strong knowledge of the media industry a distinct advantage.
