A Software Manager is required by are required by prestigious organisation in their Malvern offices.

As the Software Manager, you will lead a large team developing embedded real-time software for a complex GNSS product development programme. Your work will encompass all stages of the development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, development and integration/test.

Essential Skills for the Software Manager:

  • Eligible for SC clearance
  • Significant experience of specification, design and implementation of complex real-time software solutions for high performance embedded systems.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading large teams of systems/software engineers engaged in development of complex real-time systems.
  • Skilled in formal design tools/methodologies such as; StarTeam, DOORS, Enterprise Architect, Altassian etc
  • Proven track record of programming in C++ and C#
  • Ability to architect, design and implement software solutions involving implementation of complex algorithms
  • Degree in Engineering, Science or Maths discipline or related field

Desirable Skills for the Software Manager:

  • Working knowledge and understanding of the Systems Engineering domain
  • Experience or familiarity of GNSS Receiver systems
  • Experience of using an iterative development approach
  • Experience leading teams to deliver high assurance software against software assurance standards (e.g. DO-178C).
