Software Engineers (Junior/Mid & Senior)

I am currently working on a fantastic opportunity with an Edinburgh based organisation who are currently looking for a permanent Full-stack Software Engineer to join their team. TECH STACK

There are a number of platforms across the business so there is flexibility around technologies however, you will work with mainly open-source technologies such as:

JavaScript, React, NodeJS, Python, PostGres, AWS, RESTful APIs, DevOps tools i.e. Docker

THE CANDIDATE

The successful candidate will join an established cross-functional team, working closely with the Product Owner, Lead Developer and Senior Developers, delivering complex software solutions that are reliable and user-friendly. Your team/squad will be responsible for your own platform including new features and maintenance. If you are more junior, you will learn from your senior counter-parts and on the flip side, if you are more senior you will be called upon to mentor and support the Junior Engineers.

If you have experience with Open Source technologies and want a role which contributes to great things, then this could be your next role.

Experience in any of the following would be great:

  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, React
  • Node, PHP, Python, Java

This role will give you the opportunity to work with DevOps technologies, UX accessibility and microservices. The company emphasis knowledge sharing and mentoring, allowing you to continually learn and develop.
