Software Assurance Consultant


Software Assurance Consultant is required by a global Intelligence and National Security, Science and Technology organisation who are looking for a Software Assurance Consultant to join them on a permanent basis in either their Boscombe Down, Malvern or Lincoln offices.


As the Software Assurance Consultant, you will be supporting Software delivery across multiple projects, you will be part of a team that provides an Independent Technical Assessment of the software. You will lead the assessment of third-party software and/or software documentation for adequate safety and conformance to standards.

Essential Skills for the Software Assurance Consultant:

  • Eligible for SC clearance
  • Skilled across the full software development lifecycle
  • Experience as a technical assessor or interest in to move into this field

  • Honours Degree in a Software or Safety Engineering discipline, or equivalent professional qualifications and experience


Desirable Skills for the Software Assurance Consultant:

  • Experience of military / civil standards for software safety
  • Postgraduate Qualification in Software or Safety Engineering disciplines
  • Membership of relevant professional body
