Social Media Manager - London - £170 per day - 1 month

The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 1 month contract.

The pay rate on offer is £170 per day.

The role is working for a well-established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

Key accountabilities of the role include

  • Responsible for leading and developing two Assistant Social Media Managers
  • Acting as the main liaison within the Clothing & Home social team,
  • Leading the social team to always challenge, innovate and produce market-leading bespoke social content
  • Managing key stakeholder relationships across category marketing, content and PR teams to curate the best content from the business and adapt for social media channels
  • Overseeing the social content calendars, copy and content briefs within the social team
  • Performing hygiene checks across the social accounts to ensure all content is up to date
  • Effective day-to-day management of agencies (creative and channel)
  • Work with the Performance Marketing Manager to support the implementation and measurement of the trade-driving paid media strategy and spend across seven social channels for the client's Food sector
  • Responsible for timely reporting across all social content creation and paid strategy

Key experience required

  • Forward thinking and dynamic, capable of making big changes and leading a team
  • Commercially minded, with an understanding of how content and commercial operations overlap
  • Experience at Social Media Manager level
  • Results in managing fan growth and earned reach, and excellent social media campaigns
  • Understanding of social media performance tools
  • Ability to create and implement strategy
  • Ability to manage agency and supplier relationships
  • Ability to interpret and analyse data to inform and improve content production, digital journeys and trade
