Social Media Manager - London - £150 - £225 - 2 months

The work location is in Paddington, LONDON and is a 2 months contract.

The pay rate on offer is between £150 - £225 per day.

The role is working for a well-established, multi-national retailer and specialises in clothing, home and luxury product.

Preferred backgrounds: Retail, FMCG, Travel, Digital Marketing, Tech

Key accountabilities of the role include:

  • Manage social media strategy for international markets with a key focus on owned markets
  • Drive brand awareness, brand affinity and engagement by delivering the right message to the right audiences through the right social platform
  • Manage and optimise agency spend & performance including media and Influencer programme
  • Work closely with the UK social media team, international digital marketing team and International offline marketing team to create social media campaigns which ensure consistency across all customer touch points
  • Work closely with ecommerce managers to understand and align to business unit priorities
  • Support franchise partners with social best practice
  • Weekly reporting on performance of social and influencer channels
  • Budget management

Key experience

  • Experience of social media, International Marketing and launching new markets
  • Paid and Organic social media campaign/project experience
  • Demonstrated business leadership abilities
  • Ability to generate innovative insights from analysis and translate these into simple, clear actionable plans
  • Innovative thinker, preferably with experience of smaller business or start ups
  • Excellent communication skills influencing both junior and senior colleagues, cross functional teams and external agencies
  • Experience in ecommerce or retail environment preferred
  • Self-motivated, well organised individual, who can demonstrate strong leadership team
