Site Mechanical Engineer
Hinkley Point B Power Station, Bridgwater, Somerset


Here at Cavendish Nuclear we are currently looking to recruit a Site Mechanical Engineer to join the team working at Hinkley Point B, the first advanced Gas-cooled Reactor to generate electricity to the grid in the UK. As a Site Mechanical Engineer you'll play a pivotal role in the modifications to plant and systems as part of a project investment delivery programme.

Using your experience of working on multiple projects ranging from investment planning, site Surveying, Fault finding, Testing and commissioning you will be able to supervise technician and junior colleague to ensure work carried out is done so efficiently.

What do I need to do the role?
You'll need to hold a HNC within a relevant discipline or desirably a degree.
Would also like you to have demonstrable working experience within the industry that will allow you to pick up the requirement so the role swiftly and effortlessly.
Having basic IT skills being able to utilise MS Office is essential.


What else do I need to know?
The role is based at Hinkley Point B Power Station, being accessible from the M5 Junction 23
The Successful candidate must be able to achieve appropriate security clearance level for this role.
