Siebel applications support consultant to provide applications support across all our Siebel support customers.
This role will sit within the Atos Enterprise Solutions Oracle Applications Management group. This group is responsible for the delivery of Oracle suite AM engagements and the successful candidate will work in a team for the support, maintenance and development of Siebel CRM solutions.
The range of customers that the Oracle AM team services are spread across all sectors. The primary workload for the candidate will involve applications management for large scale Siebel solutions for government clients.

  • Incident and Problem Management including
  • Responding to and resolution of incidents.
  • Trend analysis and resolution.
  • Change Management including:
  • Impact assessments on changes.
  • Development of estimates for Siebel application/development work.
  • Preparation of technical designs.
  • Provision of advice and guidance to customers in support of their Siebel applications.
  • Acting as lead Siebel consultant for specific customers.
  • Identification of issues and risks.
  • Develop good working relationship with the customer so as to assist in effective communication.
  • Participation in on-call rota for out of hours support (including weekends and evenings).
  • Occasionally work on client sites to provide support

Job Requirements
This role will primarily involve the management of incidents on the Siebel system and the design, configuration and testing of fixes. The candidate must have good technical knowledge and experience of working in a Siebel environment.

* Siebel 8.1/IP2014,2015,2016 trained
* Siebel Tools, eScript, browser script, workflow, EAI, EIM, web service integration, Open UI
* Strong Siebel installation, upgrade and patching knowledge
* RDBMS Experience (Oracle, SQL Server)
* SQL Query experience
* Windows server administration
* Siebel 8.x certified
* Experience of working on a large scale Siebel implementation.
* Siebel testing/performance experience
* Linux/AIX knowledge

* Responsible for results and able to carry activities through to the final deliverable without prompting.
* Good customer facing skills.
* Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate within own team, with other parts of Atos and with the Customer.
Further Information:
The candidate must be able to work as a team member but must be sufficiently skilled and confident to tackle problems alone, if necessary and if called out of hours.
The candidate must be willing to travel, sometimes at short notice, mostly within the UK, although most of the work will be carried out from Atos's offices.
The candidate should have experience of working in a "front line" team responding to customer's calls, monitoring customer databases and taking pre-emptive action to avoid problems, as well as participating in an on call rota responding to customer calls within contracted levels of service.
