I am recruiting a SHEQ Business Partner to work for a leading support services organisation that adds value through delivering integrated airport solutions to key travel hubs, such as the Heathrow Airport.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SHEQ Business Partner to join a team of like-minded SHEQ professionals and will be responsible for setting standards and bringing consistency for Information Assurance, Quality, Wellbeing as well as relevant Health, Safety and Environmental matters. This role drives the SHEQS agenda through the Executive team and takes responsibility for influencing the shape of the SHEQS strategy development and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership for the Safety Health, Environment, Quality and Security process within your respective business.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally providing regular SHEQS briefings and understanding operational challenges and risks that impact SHEQS risk management strategy.
  • Manage direct line reports, providing direction, guidance, coaching to foster a collaborative working ethos across the wider team.
  • Develop strategies to promote positive safety and security culture from the top down and support to line managers to implement.
  • Determine business SHEQS risks and priorities in alignment with the business units SHEQS strategy; develop strategies support the delivery with stakeholders.
  • Support line managers and oversee event investigation, evidence gathering reports and uploading of information into the incident reporting system.
  • Develop audit framework across operational teams to ensure involvement in compliance management at all levels.
  • Ensure role defined SHEQS training matrix for line managers is in place to deliver; identify compliance, operational and behaviour based SHEQS training for implementation by line managers/training resource.



Ideal Requirements:

  • Chartered Member of IOSH.
  • Management experience.
  • Experience of SHEQ management systems
  • Ability to articulate well and can represent the company in front of stakeholders.
  • Ability to set up working relationships.
  • Hard working, enthusiastic and good communicator.
