Project Description:
The role of the SharePoint Developer is primarily focused on developing and delivering solutions for both internal and external clients. This will include development of both client and server side software following recognised standards and patterns. With demonstrable experience in Agile software development, you should be a fully competent Designer/Developer with exposure to a range of additional technologies.

Role Description:
You will work within a multi-functional, Agile delivery team, building and enhancing solutions in accordance with the agreed development standards and definition of done within the team. Your primary activities will include developing and configuring solutions in both SharePoint 2010, 2013
and SharePoint online (O365). To understand and demonstrate features of SharePoint and clearly articulate these to clients and colleagues alike in a variety of business scenarios.

Tasks:

  • You will have project experience or heightened technical knowledge of Cloud applications and specifically of developing Cloud / O365 ready business applications / solutions in SharePoint.
  • You will have awareness of Information Architecture principles and will be able to adopt these in any of the solutions that are built.
  • Completion of work allocated within agreed time, cost and quality criteria and providing progress reports on assigned work as required
  • Management and control of problems and change within their area of responsibility as requested by the Team Leader, including negotiation with other teams as necessary
  • Prompt escalation of problems, issues and risks as necessary
  • Playing an active part in Process improvement, awareness of and compliance with all relevant quality processes and procedures, including completion of all the specified quality records

  • SharePoint 2010, 2013 and SharePoint online (O365)
  • Knowledge of the SharePoint API

Mandatory Technical Skill: Any SharePoint 2016 experience, full knowledge of the development lifecycle, a working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, ASP.Net MVC 4 or above, awareness of Risk, Change & Problem Management, awareness of Configuration Management.

Mandatory Business Skill:

  • Motivated individual with excellent problem solving and creativity skills, and experience of working within an Agile team environment.
